Broll Malawi was established in 2007 through a joint venture with a local property management company and has rapidly grown in a market where there are few institutional property owners. Many of the larger properties are held privately, a sector not accustomed to the outsourcing of management functions.
However Broll Malawi has demonstrated its ability to add value through its management capabilities and more and more owners are now looking to make use of Broll’s services. On the retail front Broll Malawi now includes four of the largest shopping centres on its client list with the 15 000m2 Lilongwe City Mall the largest.
The company has built close relationships with several institutional investors and developers and includes the National Insurance Company of Malawi among its client list. NBS Bank’s head office, a major supermarket and other prestigious office buildings are currently under management.
Broll Malawi now operates from offices in Blantyre, Lilongwe and Chichiri and is well on the way to becoming the leading property services provider in the country.
