Broll Ghana turns 5

Broll celebrated five years in Ghana recently by, among other things, helping out at a hospital and an orphanage.
‘A healthy nation facilitates a healthy economy,’ says Dr Obeng Apori, medical director of the Ridge Hospital in Accra. And Broll Ghana couldn’t agree more. That’s why, as part of their month-long fifth-anniversary celebrations, the property-services company organised a clean-up of the hospital grounds and donated a mower, wheelbarrow, brooms, shovels, detergents and toilet rolls.
Established in May 2006, Broll Ghana offers the full spectrum of property-related services, including commercial broking, property valuations, retail leasing and consulting, corporate real estate, facilities
management, shopping-centre management, project management and residential estate management. The company has more than US$500 million (R3.38 billion) worth of properties under management, including the Accra Mall, A&C Square and Ridge Tower.
The hospital, which was built in 1928 and has kept running ever since because of a ‘culture of maintenance’, will soon be undergoing a refurbishment to provide better service to more people.
Moses Luri, marketing manager of Broll Ghana, said that other birthday events included a property-management press seminar, a corporate golf tournament and an orphanage outreach service.
